Man Dune really is Succession on steroids in a sci-fi skin, more fantasy too.

 

There's no way in hell I'm catching that movie. Maybe I'm just as dumb as when I had read GOT and refused to watch the series - thinking it'd ruin my interp/fantasies of the book, but screw it. I'm not letting Tchalamet into my experience with Dune.

Really though, Tchalamet is now irrevocably linked to Dune. I might not picture him as Paul, but when I think Dune, I think about how much I 1. Love the book 2. Respect the author and 3. don't want Tchalamet to play Paul.
